With his images, Borgy takes us to a dreamland, conjures a place that feels somehow suspended in time. “I’ve always loved working with nature as it is also due to where I am currently residing in, it gives me the freedom to make images in a way that enclosed spaces cannot provide. It’s a different energy,” says Borgy.
What was it like working with Bagasao?
Working with Bagasao was easy and very fulfilling at the same time; simply because it felt like I shared the same vision with the brand alongside the trust and freedom they gave to navigate my work. Especially, when it is rare to find or work with people that speak the same language as you.
Are there pieces that you saw and remember liking?
The Linya Knit and Block Tank; these specific pieces that I saw from one of their Instagram posts and seeing them was love at first sight;
Is there something about the brand the resonated with you personally?
Bagasao’s vision and creative process has what genuinely really resonated with me, from the first step we exchanged our ideas, seeing the garments, and knowing the brand’s story; that’s where I felt this deep connection with the brand.
