Joseph Bagasao, founder and creative director of BAGASÁO, established the Manila-based label in 2016 after studying at the Fashion Institute of the Philippines and working for the New York fashion house Josie Natori. His work reflects a quiet, considered approach—balancing precision and ease while creating clothing meant to live with the wearer, hold memory, and endure across generations. Collaborating closely with artisans and Filipino craftsmen, he grounds each piece in thoughtful design and enduring craft.
